About Dustin

Dustin has a passion for storytelling through written and video content. In high school, while working at a residential treatment center for kids with autism, he began to create mini-movies, vlogs, and biopics of the kids. Most of the kids loved seeing themselves on the big screen. However, a young boy named Ryan, who often had an adverse reaction to noise, would hold his ears during the screening of the videos and yell, “noisy films, noisy films!” So naturally, Dustin named his first video production company “Noisy Films.” After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Marketing, he worked at NBC-Houston as the Director of Commercial Production for six years. Creating multimedia campaigns for a large variety of local businesses helped Dustin honed his craft of unique storytelling. With every client, he tries to find what differentiates their company and tells their story in the most creative but simple way possible.

Dustin is on a mission to visit every local and old-school Austin restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and music venue. When not in Austin, he enjoys traveling through Europe and experiencing different cultures, food, and languages. His goal is to live like a local and avoid tourist traps when in foreign countries. Unfortunately, his incessant need to take a picture of everything makes him stick out like a sore thumb.
